Musescore will not accept my MIDI from my piano keyboard .

Its a Yamaha TJX . In preferance I/O its enabled. I set it up wjith notebook midi set up. I set up new score put a rest in the score. midi is on i turned on the N the the blue line is in place. it still wont accept notes off the keyboard. i have windows
