Trombone Soundfonts
Anyone know any good tenor/bass trombone sound fonts? I have only been able to find one realistic one ( http://www.suonoelettronico.com/soundfont_scaricare_sf2.asp?nome=Trombo… ). Although it is great, it's way to soft for the music I'm trying to play (no matter what dynamic it sounds soft). Anyone have a suggestion?

your best best is to look for free samples in kontakt format
then convert them to sf2

Or search for SFZ trombones and convert to sf2.

Must be Kontakt <=4 or you will not be able to convert the samples, AFAIK
(Unless you know a way to convert Kontakt >=5?)
I like the sound of this mellow font. But I'm afraid it has got some intonation issues. Please let us know if you find a better one. I'm also looking for decent free brass sounds.
I've got two of each, in Symphonic Sounds. Two are UoI, Two are... wherever SSO found them. The volume is not quite what I want it at yet, but they do have velocity layers, so they blare/blat at fff, and play nice at mp.

From what I could hear, the intonation is very risque on the non-SSO Bass Trombone sound around the register three line below the bass clef. As this is the usual area composers may place a bass trombone, that isn't very good when you have tubas and other bass instruments playing.

Also, it seems that those files have been deleted. Do you know where you found them?
