Change pitch of Timpani
My Timpani is sounding at C4. I would like the Timpani to be tuned to C3. How do I do that? Thank you for your help.

The timpani should be on a 5 line staff, so write the note an octave lower.

Ok, thank you. Is there a way that I can select an entire staff of music or group of notes, and then move them up or down at the same time, specifically with the mouse. Thank you.

The easiest way to move an entire staff is to select it all by clicking the first note (or rest) in the staff, ctrl-shift-end (this will select the entire staff). Ctrl-down arrow will move it down an octave.
down arrow (only) will move everything down 1/2 step. alt-shift-down arrow will move it down to the next lower note in the current key signature. modified up arrows move the notes up rather than down of course.
edit: You can select a section of notes by clicking the first note and shift click the last note.
In French MS .Write 1 octave lower (CTRL + down arrow) and , if the "writing" is not good fro you (too low) transpose it with the "Stave Proprities" by Right Click on the stave. At the bottom you can change the "writing" without changing the sound
