Creating a loop between measures at playback
Hello,
I am studying a piece for two Guitars and I want to create a loop between some measures so
I can practice that part of one Guitar only while MuseScore playes the other Guitar part.
After a thread search I saw that in the feature request forum someone has already asked for it
quite a while ago.
Is this already possible in the latest 1.2 version or am I sitting in the dark?

Do you mean repeat a sequence of a few bars several times? If so, then place start and end repeat signs (found in the Bar Lines palette) around the section to be repeated. Right-click on the last bar in that section, select Measure Properties and set the Repeat Count to the desired number.
