Courtesy accidentals
To remind with notes close across a bar line, can we put in parentheses e.g. (#) ?

yes if I understand correctly. Select the accidental and in the Accidentals palette double click the ()
Be aware that a bug was discovered in the current version (2.0.3) that prevents you adding a courtesy accidental to the continuation of a tied note (#111116: Cannot add courtesy accidentals for a tied note). This will be fixed in the upcoming 2.1 release, and there will also be an Inspector checkbox to add parentheses around an accidental.

All of the accidental and tie issues seem to be fixed in 2.1-dev. There is one oddity however. If you tie a note to its enharmonic equivalent (which works fine), select one of the notes and both can cycle through the enharmonic values. I used a C# tied to a Db, selected the Db, pressed J and the C# changed to Db and Db to C#. This also happens if both are spelled the same way, which is expected.
