score size
I am a new composer and have come to like this program, BUT I am having trouble writing for a full band score. When I add all the instruments i need it cuts them off. Also, if I have some 16th note runs, it makes around two measures per line which is really big font. I would be very thankful if you could work this out.

If you want to fit a lot of staves on one page, you will need to change to a smaller staff size, otherwise they won't physically fit on the page. See Layout->Page Settings, and change the Scaling / "Space" parameter (literally, the size of the space between staff lines). Or, just create your score from one of the provided templates that already have things set up for a variety of band types. You could of course also just increase the page size, but then you would need paper that large to print!
As for the spacing of the 16ths, there is a parameter Style->Edit General Style->Measure->Spacing that controls how tight the default spacing is. But you may find that simply changing to the smaller staff size - necessary in order to fit your staves on one page anyhow - is all you need.
