Where do things go when you drag them off the score?

Ok you can put this down to user stupidity...
Instead of making tempos invisible, or the text 'Swing' or 'Straight' invisible (I inserted a graphic) I just drug them off the score and they magically disappeared!
And everything printed and worked fine.
However, what I SHOULD have done was make the text invisible to PRINT however allow another user to see.
But now the tempo markings and all the text I dragged off screen seems to be gone forever?
Is there anyway to retrieve it?

I made visible TEXT or TEMPO MARKINGS 'invisible' by just dragging them off the score....
Is there anyway to retrieve them?
