Musescore won't actually save my song.
This has happened twice now when I tried to make the beginning of my first song. I click "save as" and then I press close and it asks me if I would like to save, so I press save, but then it doesn't close. So I press close again and again it asks me if I want to save. I pressed save a couple times, but on the third one, I pressed "discard" and the program finally closed. Pressing "discard" was the only way to close it. Later when I reopened Musescore and tried to open the song, it was nowhere to be found. What's wrong and how do I fix it?

What version and operating system are you using?
What folder were you trying to save in, and what filename were you trying to save as? What happens if you try a different folder and/or a different filename?
This problem is common among software which saves files. Search the internet.
