The piano roll is something that can be fun to look at, but it's not how you normally edit things in MuseScore. Instead, work directly with the score. By "left and right hand", I assume you have music for piano (or other keyboard instrument) using two staves. Sounds like you want to move notes from one staff to the other. That is done using cut and paste. Select the notes you want to move, Ctrl+X to cut, click where you want them to go, Ctrl+V to paste. Again, working directly from the score, not the piano roll view.
