I feel that it would be much more accessible/easier to read if it was a .txt
file instead of .md
: I found on Wikipedia
that the extension used is basically an archive file. All the readmes other than the one for this that I have found on my computer are either a .txt file or an HTML file (just skimmed through all my programs' main folders and user data folders).
Comments
.md is not an archive file, but a 'mark down' format and easily readable with any plain text editor (well, any that can deal with UNIX line endings, on Windows take WordPad rather than NotePad, I'll see whether I can fix that), but gives some options for formatting that a .txt doesn't give.
Check what it does on GitHub: https://github.com/Jojo-Schmitz/crescendo-diminuendo-playback/
That readme doesn't give more information as the plugin page on MuseScore.
Ok. Thanks for the info!
I tried to open it via WordPad, and got plain code; opened it through my Visual Studio 11 beta, and it appeared to be text-only (with multiple lines of plain text).
BTW: for anyone else reading this, I am using Windows 7.
That's what I said. It is plain text, just displays nicer, on GitHub.
Thanks!
