[MusicXML] Import/export of ottava coordinates
Referring to attached PNG, reproduce like this:
1. Create initial two measures in a .mscz file;
2. Save to an XML file;
3. Import the XML file;
4. Result looks like second two measures of example.

P.S. I am running MuseScore version 0.9.5 release 1770 on Windoze XP. :-)
This may be independent of XML: it does it when saving as PDF. User workaround is to Print with PrimoPDF...
I don't have any problem saving to PDF (unless of course I try saving the imported XML file to PDF)
Agreed. I thought I had eliminated XML but cannot reproduce. It saves to PDF fine from .mscx which, I see now, is text and can be consulted like I was initially using XML for.
Next release (0.9.6) will be improved but not perfect. I tested the current revision (2904) and found the octave shift is handled correctly. The position of the 15ma line, however, is not exported to MusicXML. On import the line is placed at a default y position, which in this case is not quite correct.
Exporting and importing exact positioning of directions should probably not be a last minute change to 0.9.6, but should be implemented during development of a later release. We should focus on showstopper bugs only at this time.
Let's put this bug on postponed. I will be easier to track for next version.
Why Task? And is this still a problem?
