resizing lyrics produces error in barline placement

I have a MuseScore file which looked fine until I received a request to increase the font size for the lyrics. When I did so (by selecting a syllable, then selecting all similar elements, then editing the Text Properties from right-clicking on a syllable) some of the bar lines wound up in wrong places -- including off of the ends of systems. Please see attached musescore file and the pdf's marked "smaller_font" and "larger_font". The attached musescore file has the increased font size (10 pt). You can toggle between good and bad bar lines by selecting all syllables as above and changing back and forth between 9 and 10 point.

As an aside, I note that there is an odd behavior of musescore with respect to changing font size via the edit text style option from the style drop-down menu. When I first create a score with lyrics, I can alter the size of text by navigating to lyrics even lines or lyrics odd lines and changing the font size. This works so long as the file is open (even after saving). But if I close the file and re-open, then attempting to change the font size in this way changes the vertical spacing of music but not the font size or the horizontal spacing of the music. In the attached musescore file I had attempted to change the font size in this way, so the font size reported from the text style drop down is 11 point, whereas the actual font size (shown by examining Text Properties as described in the previous paragraph) shows 10 point.

This is MuseScore 1.2, Revision 5470, on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.6.8. I have not checked the behavior on nightly builds; the last time I downloaded a nightly build, a few weeks ago, it seemed to have incomplete text-handling ability.
