I thought it's general problem, however you need to perform some steps first:
1. My First score
2. Select first bar
3. Insert horizontal frame
From now on frames are not interactive
4. Ctrl+Z multiple times to get crash
Not here, both frames can get selected and modified in inspector, pressing Ctrl+Z multiple times doesn't crash, so there got to be more to it.

No, there is other problems with frames.
With 576c6c4
Steps:
1) "My First Score"
2) Select and cut the vertical title frame
3) Select the first measure
4) Add -> Frames -> Insert vertical frame
5) Undo
---> Crash
I can longer reproduce this issue (in particular steps of comment #5)
