Getting A Guitar Tab To Look Like I Had I Previously
I Am having a bit of trouble trying to get specific notes on certain strings of a guitar tab that I am making for a marching arrangement, and it's been low-key pissing me off that I cannot figure out how to get it back to how I had the tab before. I've tried changing the tuning of the string, which is needed anyways, I've tried to enter the fret numbers on my keypad, but that didn't work either. And I have Reverted to factory settings. I've tried just about everything I can think of.

Musecore's tab notations strives for lowest fret, if you want it higher, you'd have to tell MuseScore, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tablature#editing-existing-notes

See this file for showing how to do (and prevent some errors, eg on your first attached image, you have in first beat first measure: A open 5th string, and on the second image, it's a F#, fret 9 5th string) : 3Test file tab.mscz
EDIT: other display, with standard linked staff: 4Test file tab.mscz
