Export page range
Hi there,
It would be great to have a page range for export. At present, Musescore will produce a pdf and Midi with all pages that are in the file.
I am engraving a multi-movement piece for someone who is in a remote location. I'd like to be able to designate a range of pages to save in the .pdf and .mid files I send him.
This is done when printing a document.
Just an idea. Thanks for making Musescore happen!

Hmm, maybe you could print the score to a pdf printer and inside it's printer dialog set the page numbers to 'print' into a file?
Or you could use something like PDFSaM to split the PDF you exported into sections?
Won't work with MIDI though
How about select the range in the score and than use File → Save selection, then open that file and export PDF and MIDI

Or put each section in its own file and use an album to make a single file out of them.
There is one more possibility that has a major bug in it. You can select the section of music you want to export and under the file menu select Save Selection. The bug is that it must be in 4/4 time or start with a time signature or the file will be corrupt. So, make sure any section you save to it's own file starts with a time signature (which should happen any way). You can then do what you want with that part of the song. If you don't want the time signature printed, then make it invisible.

Which is what I mentioned above. The issue is #99146: File > Save Selection… leads to corrupt score if selection is not 4/4 and does not start with time signature, and I had completely forgotten about

That bug would bite me hard, as this score has, so far, at least 4 different time signatures, sometimes within only a few measures.

As I said above, put a time signature in the first measure of the section you are saving, then take it out after the section is saved. An isolated PDF page should have something indicating the current tempo any way. This will retain the score layout and let the customer see the score section with the correct time signature. All of the following time signatures will be retained and cause no problem.
