Help: Tie with Ritornello
Hello everyone! I'm new to Musescore and I'm having a hard time in using tie. I have no problem placing tie in different bars: I use the tie icon or the "shift +" shortcut. However, I have trouble when I have a ritornello with 1st and 2nd brackets (time bars). I am not able to insert a tie in the last note of the bar before the 1st bracket and the first note of the bar in 2nd bracket. In the attached file (Samba de Uma Nota Só), I would like to place a tie on the last note of bar 38th connecting the first note of bar 41st. Could anyone help me? Thank you.

For the second Volta the easiest workaround is to place a grace note in measure 41, to tie it with the first note and deactivating in the inspector "visible" and "play".

This workaround will help me indeed !!! But the music notation will not be correct. I may use another software to write the music. Thank you very much Kuwitt!

Btw a further way in your score is to select the last note in Volta 1, select the tie symbol (or press "+"), doubleclick the tie and move the first handle to the second Volta.

I succeed to make the tie correct. First the tie was long but double clicking it was possible to diminish and make it right. Thank you very much!!!!!!!!
Here's another possibility.
I just don't like the way the tie looks, but it plays right.

Hi MIke! For changing the tie, select it, move to the second part and diminish. You and Kuwitt help me a lot. Thank you very much!
