How to increase the value of a note already entered
Hi, everyone,
I've looked through the handbook and I can't seem to find how to do this. If I have already entered notes in a chord as quarter notes, how can I select that chord and change the notes to a half note without typing 6 and then retyping the notes (G, shift-E, shift-C)? Is this possible, or is my method the only way? Please advise.
Thanks,
Karen
Update: I just went back to the score, selected the top note of the chord and typed 6. It changed to a half note, so my earlier problem might have been operator error.

Leave (!) the note input mode, select a note from the chord choose 6 for the new note duration.

It doesn't matter which note you select to change the duration in the chord, all the notes will change to the new duration. The only thing to watch out for is that you can ONLY select one note and not the entire chord.
