Tempo limited to 20bpm
Is there a reason why the lower limit for tempo has been set at 20bpm?
Thought I'd post here before opening an issue :)
For some scores, particularly Bach or Mozart which are very busy, 20bpm may be too fast if you wish to slow the tempo for practice purposes.
Also if you are using a string of custom tempos to emulate ritardando, pauses etc then again 20bpm is too fast.
I have come across this in my working of BWV 565 for the collection of Demo Scores: When I originally reworked the score there were several places where I entered a custom tempo of 15bpm to emulate the actual way this is performed, but since then this lower limit of 20bpm has been imposed, and the piece no longer plays correctly.
There seems to me to be no reason why there should be a lower limit imposed at all (other than 1 of course) but 1.2's lower limit of 10 seems to me more reasonable than 20.

There is a limit when exporting to midi. Midi expresses tempo in microseconds/quarter note and uses a 24 bit value for storage. If i calculate right this gives a lower limit of 4bpm.
I will reduce the limit to 5bmp in next mscore version.

Heh, you learn something new every day :)
Been working with MIDI since the late 80's but always used tick resolutions forgetting that they must have a physical time.
Presumably then the lower limit is imposed by MuseScore's tick resolution?
