Editing Score Properties

There seem to be some oddballs when trying to edit Score Properties. When you start a new score, you can enter some, but not all the properties that are contained in Score Properties - Title, Subtitle, Composer, Lyricist & Copyright. If you complete the preliminaries, these attributes appear in the score. If you then open Score Properties, changes made to Copyright are reflected in the score, but nothing else. Adding an arranger adds nothing to the score and changes to Title, Composer, Lyricist etc are not reflected in the score. Likewise, edits to Title, Subtitle, Composer and Lyricist made in the score (after double clicking on the item) are not reflected in Score Properties. The operation Add>Text>Part Name adds text on the left of the page, level with Title and in the same font. Not intuitive at all!
