Separating two sets of divisi double (etc) stop chords for strings
Is there a way to separate two sets of simultaneous double/triple stop chords for strings? In other words, my 1st violins are divided for the last bar of a piece and both half are each playing a double-stop chord at the same time. As some of the notes are in the area, I'd like to separate the stems of the two chords so that they don't overlap. I can move the noteheads with the shift L & R in Edit mode, but I can't figure out whether you can do the same thing with the stems.
Here, from Ravel's Rapsodie Espagnole, are 3 examples of what I'm talking about:
1. (the Violin 2 part in the 2nd-4th measures)
2. (the Violin 1 part in the 1st & 3rd measures.)
3. (the pizzicato chords in the Violin 1 and the upper Viola part in the 1st 2 measures)

If you assign the divided violins to separate voices then you have control over the resulting stems, as there will be a stem for each violin.
I would assign Violin Ia to voice 1 and Violin 1b to voice 2

Thanks! I figure out that you have to individually move the noteheads, the stems, and the flag over.

In theory just moving the noteheads should suffice.
The stems and flags are supposed to automagically align with the new note positions.
