I am logged on. I go to "Home" or click on the top and I am directed to the Windows download site.
In this case I want to send the link to a Mac user friend of mine.
I think that any download click should lead to the whole menu of choices.

I think it's better for a normal user to not have to make a choice and get what he wants directly. That's why the big green button detect your operating system and deliver you the right package. So you can send your friend the link to http://musescore.org he will be able to get the Mac version from the green button, and on top of that, he will see that there are tutorials, this lively forum, the handbook and of course that MuseScore needs his support through donation.
If you really want a page with choice it's http://musescore.org/en/download accessible from the homepage through the "Other system and platforms" below the green button.
