Phantom notes sound in playback when a staff is hidden

When I go to hide a staff with electric bass notes in it (I don't want that staff to be part of a videoscore I send out), a weird chord happens in the piano that isn't on the staff, followed by a few out-of-time Bb piano notes. They disappear when I reopen the hidden staff. This happens at measure 149 of the attached score.

I hide "5-str. Electric Bass 2" by going to Instruments > 5-str. Electric Bass 2 > Bass clef > clicking that "eye" so it's closed. I want to hear the bass notes without having a visible staff for those notes.
