1. Create score.
2. Enable 'Note Entry'.
3. Enter the notes in the attached PNG.
4. Click the top D.
5. 'Inspector'.
6. Tick 'Small' in the 'Note' section.

Result: The note becomes detached from the stem (see attached PDF).

Here are corrected steps for the original report:

1. Create score.
2. Enable 'Note Entry'.
3. Enter the notes in the attached PNG.
4. Disable 'Note Entry'.
5. Click the top D.
6. 'Inspector'.
7. Tick 'Small' in the 'Note' section.
