Setting up Guitar Tab + Score

Hi,

I'd like to compose classical guitar music.

It would be most convenient to enter in tab and see the notes automatically appear on a staff. I found how to do that here: http://musescore.org/en/node/7845 but the instructions don't work. I don't see an "Add Linked Staff" button. I also don't see "Staff Types" when I click "Edit".

So as of now I can't get a tab staff and I can't link staff together. How can I do this? Thanks.
