Saving Custom Score Templates
Firstly, I apologize if this has been asked before--I looked through several pages of this forum without seeing a similar topic. I've also looked through the various menus in the program itself, but I didn't see anything that looked useful.
My question is this: Is there a way to save a custom score template that will show when MuseScore first opens? I use similar instrumentation for a lot of my pieces, but it gets old having to add and remove instruments from the score template every time I want to start writing something. It seems that it would be a lot quicker to save the template(s) I use most often--especially since MS sometimes crashes when I try to edit the instrument list.
Any help will be appreciated.

You can save a score in your templates folder. Here's a link to the handbook. https://musescore.org/en/handbook/create-new-score#templates
The score can have notes in it already and you will see them in the new score dialog, but they will not be entered into your new score.
