Look at the picture
If I read your question literally, you want the lowest staff lower so you would make the lower margin of the page smaller. A lower page margin of 0 and a "Music lower margin" of 0 sits the lower part of the lowest stave on the lower edge of the page (not that I can think of a reason to want to do this).
If I can guess that you maybe want to make the lower staff of a piano grand staff lower then goto Style->Edit General Style->Page and set Great Stave Distance to a higher value (I like 8 for most scores, 10 or even 11 for ones with lots of ledger lines or slurs and articulations).

yes, that is how i did it. But i guessed there would be a more "elegant" way :)

yes exactly, i have however not found this "lower page margin" it is not in edit style>page...

The bottom margin for the page itself is set on Layout / Page Settings. The "music lower margin" in the Style dialog is more of a "buffer" berween the bottom of the last staff and the top of the page margin. I assume this is to allow room for notes on ledger lines below the staff, dynamics, and so forth, without extening into the actual page margin, which is the area you actually want to keep free.
