Cannot open the downloaded version 1.3 for Mac OS X Snow Leopard

I tried to download Version 1.3 for Snow Leopard and after downloading got a message saying that I could not open version 1.3 because "it won't work on this Mac". Here are the specs on my Mac:

Any ideas why I can't open the new version?

Your macbook pro has an old processor (Intel Core Duo). MuseScore 1.3 doesn't support this processor anymore. You can install MuseScore 1.2. The two last versions of OS X (Lion and Mountain Lion) are not supported on this processor either.
