Select All of a particular note

I'm having a great time scoring exercises for me to practice certain scales...
Right now, I'm working on 7+9 scales in every key.
I would love to be able to select all of a particular note (such as select all C#'s) and be able to change them to another note... then after changing just a few notes, booom, I'll have a new scale to practice in ...
For instance, I'd love to be able to convert a diminished scale exercise into a diminished 7 exercise.

(I looked and I don't think there is any way to do this now. The closest that I can find is to right-click on a note and "Select All Similar Elements". It'd be great to be able to designate which notes within all the notes.
