You'd have to take that up with the people who design the fonts. But no, in general, different fonts *will* have slightly different sizes for different glyphs, that's perfect normal. Same with "regular" (not music fonts) - the letter "f" (for example) might be a slightly different size in different fonts for any given point size because of how it is designed.
