I was unable to save a score because the save dialog was blank. This is on the most recent Debian Linux (upgraded distro last week) and the current version of MuseScore (also first downloaded and installed last week), that is end of April 2013.
I wouldn't consider this fixed. It is still a problem for anyone trying to use musescore. One shouldn't have to independently search for odd fixes, exterior to just running "musescore", and try them.

Starting it from the command line:
export QT_NO_GLIB=1; musescore
fixed it for me. I have no idea why.

Well, its described in the manual: http://musescore.org/en/handbook/known-incompatibilities ;-)
In any case, it's something that needs to be sorted out downstream. You should file a bug at debian.
