Apply button for Measure Properties

If I make some changes (say stemless or invisible) on the measure through Measure Properties window, then I click on 'Apply' button, the sheet music doesn't really show the changes right away. Only after I click on 'OK' or 'Cancel' to get the properties window closed, the changes would be showing on the sheet music. I guess the apply button makes no sense here.

I am using 2.0.0 on Ubuntu.
