notation for piano alternating left and right hand

Hi all,

I'm working on something that alternates the left and right hand. Perhaps there's a better way to notate this, but for now I'm trying to reproduce something like this
(although mine is treble/bass)
Is this possible?

Ah thanks, ashamedly I didn't get through the full manual!

I'm running into a problem though. Trying to slur after bringing some notes to the bass clef ends up with a misplaced slur. I found this bug, but it says that it was fixed in the trunk over a year before the current stable release. Do I need to git the latest for this?
For example, after selecting the first, ctrl-click the last, and hitting S:
