Automatic Beaming

2 things.

1: When in 4/4 time, when we're messing with 16th notes, the beaming will extend across two counts. However, in proper notation, the beams on 16th notes are only supposed to span one count.

2: I'm writing something in 2+2+2+3/8, which is causing some problems. I posted earlier about a spacing issue, but now the auto beaming is bad. In 2+2+2+3/8, it should be to where the beams span 2, then 2, then 2, then 3 counts. However, it's treating the time signature as if it's 9/8, and it's beaming every 3.

Also, random question. Do we have a release date for v2?

Yes there are a number of issues with automatic beaming in 1.3

I believe it is better in 2.0

Afraid there is no definite date for the release of 2.0, but the nightly builds are available for you to try stuff out, and the more people we have testing, the quicker the bugs will be found.
