Inserting a tempo text either by palette or by
create - text - tempo marking
works fine, but subsequent right-click on the tempo text and selecting "text properties" yields no opportunity to set the bpm, as expected and used in 1.3 before (or my fault?)
Thanx!
Comments
This uesed to be possibible in 2.0 too. In addition to a checkbox that enebaled automatic detection of BPM from the tempo text.
Both seems gone now, not sure why?
Maybe it broke with

improve Follow Text option for tempo text
The tempo text properties are now in the inspector since 87246d0647
Thank you, lasconic, feature works fine now.
I hope, it will be added to the right-clickable "text properties" in final 2.0, anyway. For an unexperienced User there it might be found easier.
I'd like it back too, so let's make it a feature request?
Good idea
It's possible to change the tempo, just go to the inspector. Most of the "Properties" dialog boxes are out from MuseScore 2.0 and replaced by the inspector. We could add a right click menu to open the inspector for a given element. Could you open another "feature request" or discuss this in the feature request forum?
OK, thanx for the response.
I opened a contribution to the feature request forum.
