1. Open attached score (produced in 1.3).
2. 'Mixer'.
2. 'Solo' a track.
4. 'Export…'.
5. Choose 'WAV'.
6. 'Save'.
7. Play WAV.
Result: All instruments are heard.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (e94d712) - Mac 10.7.5.

Noticed a while ago, but hadn't come round to report it ;-)
Why not simply export a part?
I'm trying to render a 13 instrument piece to different files and have encountered this bug that's over two years old. I was hoping there would be an 'export to individual tracks' option, or at least the mixer would work for soloing by now.
Is there any workaround? By parts, do you mean voices? I can't see how that helps our situation.

"Parts" means the built-in parts facility in MuseScore - see File / Parts. This generates separate parts for each instrument, which is what the individual players would normally read from (as opposed to the full score). So this would normally be something you'd do for every scorew anyhow. Then, once you've generated the parts, if you export audio while viewing one of these parts, it will reflect just that instrument.

And there's another aspect to this: silence a an Instrument in score, then generate parts, this results in the instrument to be silent in ist part too. 'unsilence' in score, and the part is still silent.
So silencing has different effects to sound export, depending on whether in score or part and is not synced between the two

1. Load the file
2. Mute the top line (voice) using Mixer
3. Verify that voice is muted by playing it.
4. File/Export, choose MIDI type
5. Play the MIDI file.
The voice (muted top line) is played.
My application is to make a 'music minus one' MIDI file so my Kawai piano can accompany me. My file includes the piano, the flute part, and a wood block line used only for a count-in measure. I muted the flute line but it persistently appears in the MIDI file. One workaround would be to delete the flute line entirely.
