General Printer Error with H-P Laserjet 200 colorMPF N275NW

Whenever I print from MusicScore it throws a 'General Printer Error' for which no additional details are logged. It does this from a PDF created by MS as well as directly. I suspect some non-printing character which the printer cannot handle, but don't know how I can suppress it, or even find out what it is.

It is the latest printer driver and I am using an iMac, 10.12.5 (latest OS, I think).

Note that it also does this with PDFs created by my friends who use MS.

Not a major problem (you just have to press 'OK') but a bug nevertheless.
