Reverted to factory Settings to fix a sound bug, experiencing crashes and other bugs

Recently, Musescore wasn't quite playing sounds properly (I couldn't hear any playback). I searched the forum, and, having tried many of the fixes that were suggested, eventually decided to revert to factory settings. However, upon relaunching Musescore, the program kept crashing while I was reloading in my soundfonts. The program kept giving me a "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way" message followed by a crash. I figure that it had to do with my soundfont reloading and just accepted that too many soundfonts at once could crash the program. However, after finally loading everything, I tried to open some compositions and found that the "open" button was not working. I clicked it and it just did nothing. Musescore then went into (and is currently as I type this in) a state where it doesn't respond to anything and I can't even close it with task manager.

Please help me figure out why this happened,
