Slur editing goes Kilimanjaro!

Sometimes while editing slur, when I drag right handle, things go way out of control (and screen too LOL).
See attached file.
Also attached is MScore file (El Nuevo Dia) I was working on when this happened (had been happening...). This is scanned in another notation software, saved as MusicXML, then imported in MScore 2.
