Mixer position
I thought about putting the mixer on the right, at the same place than the inspector. It would be very convenient to mix the instruments quickly instead of opening the mixer that, in general, is quite long to open due the several instruments displayed in.
I thought that it would be exactly the same for the synthesizer that could be on the top of the software. But it is something that we don't often use.
I have a photo montage that I made with Photoshop so as to show what I think about that idea.

Hello Celthyan,
I like your idea. I was going to make a similar suggestion. Currently, there are too many possible floating windows without the option of docking them. It makes the user interface cluttered. I often want the mixer and volume control readily available when working on a composition. I would also like to see the metronome volume added to the same panel as the master volume, the play panel. Currently, users have to go to the synthesizer panel to adjust the metronome volume.
