How does tempo setting work in 2?
I don't seem to be able to adjust tempo within the score in Musescore 2. Using the play panel works fine, but if I add a tempo marking then while it sometimes adjusts playback speed, there seems to be no way to set the tempo speed - or at least the 1.3 instructions don't work. Any ideas? Thanks!

Select a note, press Ctrl + Alt + T or double click one of the premade tempo text in the Text palette. Once the tempo is in the score edit it to show "quarter note = XXX" where XXX is the tempo you want.

OK that almost works, indeed works fine on most of the scores I've tried it on, but I'm attaching a score where it'll only set the tempo for 1 or 2 bars at a time at most, after that it resets to 120bpm :-(
I've tried to reduce this to a smaller test case but haven't found the culprit that causes this behavior yet.

Using yesterdays nightly build.... I took your modified version, changed the bpm to 60 in the tempo text (play panel displays 90, but never mind, must be related to the 6/8 time?) and then hit play. First two bars play fine, then it jumps up to 240bmp :-(

I might have found the problem, and fix it in 8d38ad7bd1

Thanks! I'll give that a go once the changes make there way into the nightly build.
