Band in a Box .MG1 files
I am finding Muse Score a great asset, allowing me to produce scores for print and performance. One small thing I would find very useful would be the possibility to open Band in a Box .MG1 files. At present the .mgu and .sgu files open fine, but not the .mg1 files.
I am using version 1.1 of Muse Score on Ubuntu Linux (another resason I appreciate MuseScore...)

I didn't test but you could try to rename the mg1 file to mgu and open it with MuseScore. You never know :)
Oh and you definitely want to upgrade to MuseScore 1.3. It's available from this PPA https://launchpad.net/~mscore-ubuntu/+archive/mscore-stable for Ubuntu precise and up.
