What a great achievement this project has already managed - facility: I can write charts for my tunes and songs, for my band - music education: as we all struggle to express ourselves - an opportunity: to build a creative structure that is useful yet "free" (http://musescore.org/en/donate) - In-the-trenches coding experience: challenge and expression on so many levels, by so many people - community: >>> (hold mirror here) <<< .
What a great achievement this project has already managed, and it is still growing, it's still so young.

I know this is kind of a strange comment, but I've been around these forums for a few years now and I've only known you as xavierjazz for so long, that it was kind of strange to see your real name there at the bottom!

I'd also like to echo your sentiment about MuseScore. It has completely changed the way I compose and arrange, and I think I'm a better musician for it. I've dabbled with the nightlies, and I can see them getting more and more stable, and I like the direction MuseScore is headed!
