Mixer improvements

Hello,
I thought ab out adding an extremely helpful feature that would let us searching for instruments names in the list for each instrument. That would let us save time when you have a lot of soundfonts for the same instrument or simply a huge list. The text box which displays the name of the sound selected would be used to type the instrument you want to search for.
-Furthermore, it would be very convenient to be able to put colors on each instrument in the mixer to recognize them quickly.
-I saw that the mixer takes a lot of time to open, perhaps you could improve the loading time by lowering the quality of something inside.

Note you can already search within the mixer, just start typing and the list will be positioned to the first matching sound. Still, there is definitely room for further improvement there.

Not sure what you mean about the mixer being slow to load. Could be a problem unique to your score or soundfont. If you would like further assistance, please attach your score.

For a long time, me too, I had the same difficulty in finding an instrument/a sound in the mixer.

The idea, when opening the dropdown list, of "searching within the mixer: just start typing and the list will be positioned to the first matching sound", had helped me at first.

But I had found that it did not always work as intended, in a non optimal way. Eg, for guitar, when you type "g", you get: glockenspiel :)
So, several months ago, I had experienced all this, to improve if possible this search, by establishing a "Shorcuts list".

I would forgot to share it :(
Better late...
(see attached pdf below). If that can help

You will observe, and it is the interest I had found on this list, that is that sometimes the action of typing a single letter suffices. But other times, it's either two or three, and so on. When you know all this, it's very useful ... for me anyway!

Last advice: when you have two or three letters to type, it must be done in a continuous and rather fast way. A habit to be taken.
And now, this search is no longer a concern for me.
