no sound: weird configuration
I'm running the latest nightly version for Linux, revision 64acaec
I can't play midi and if I run musescore in debug mode I see some weird lines:
Can't open '/usr/local/share/mscore-2.0//sound/aeolus/stops/Aeolus/definition' for reading
Can't open '/usr/local/share/mscore-2.0//sound/aeolus/stops/Aeolus/presets' for reading
Fluid: sf not found
ChordList::read failed:
ChordList::read failed:
channel has no preset
FluidSynth error: event 0x90 channel 0:
channel has no preset
Please note that there's no /usr/local/share/mscore-2.0 on my system.
In the preferences I set the soundfont directory to /usr/share/sounds/sf2
I'm using PulseAudio
Thanks in advance

You need to load a soundfont in View -> Synthesizer

ok, I loaded the soundfont
it works, thanks
I should have found it here (even if it's called Display>Synthesizer):

Those messages seem to indicate a basic problem with MuseScore not being able to find its own installation folder. Where did you install it? Did the chordlist messages not include a pathname? Is it also underneath /usr/local/share/mscore-2.0?

I'm using the binary build, saved in ~/bin.
/usr/local/share/mscore-2.0 doesn't exist
