Drum repeat?

I've created a drum rhythm using two drum staves. One is for the bass drum, and the other is for the military drum. I'd like it to repeat throughout most of the song. Other than cut and paste, is there an easier way to have it repeat? I tried adding a repeat symbol, but it doesn't actually do anything. In fact, it seemed to crash the program and was very difficult to remove from the measure in which I had placed it. I had to close down the program, restart it and then reopen the previous version of my song.

I've only discovered Musescore four days ago, so I apologize if this is too basic a question, but I didn't find an answer in the online help file.
