Lyric/text question - early music

I have a problem with writing out notes to "Biblical Psalms". They often differs from verse to verse in text. I need a way to write one long note per measure, but with more than one word within the same measure. An example (in Norwegian, sorry) on one note, and within one measure, the text will be: "hyllingsrop lyde for" (from Psalm 100). The automatic lyrics will then have gone past at least three more notes in this (or the next two measures.
Any ideas on how this might be done? I am an absolute novise i MuseScore.
