Ctrl+Alt+T is the default shortcut for adding system text across at least the Windows and Linux builds (I don't know about any of the BSD builds), but that shortcut is extremely common among Linux distros as a system shortcut to bring up a terminal. AFAIK it still is the case for 2.0, and as long as it exists, it is a dead shortcut that really needs fixed.
