Deleting rests in MuseScore 1.3/Windows 7
I have written a part in which there is a full bar of rests. I have changed my mind and now want to have rests at the beginning of the bar with the voice enter at the end of the bar. I can't delete the existing rests to add new ones.
When I first used MuseScore 1.3 I would have N on, select the value of the rest I wished to insert and then CTRL + 0. Now that doesn't work.
Can anyone help?

You don't need to delete the existing rests - just enter the new ones directly on top of the old. All versions of MuseScore work in "overwrite mode"; you never need to delete things first. But FWIW, the shortcut for rest is "0", not "Ctrl+0".
BTW, do note that 1.3 is extremely old and is much more limited than the current version 2.1.

Thanks. That isn't working, either. Looks like I'll have to rewrite it in MuseScore 2.1.

Marc, it seems I had one version in 1.3 and one in 2.1! I've worked out what I've been doing wrong. Thanks for your help.
