Remove Crescendo
I have added crescendo in wrong place and have unfortunately saved it . It will not highlight to remove. Is there a way to remove it please. Terry

Right-click on another crescendo (or diminuendo...) on your score -> Select -> All similar elements -> Ctrl + R

That won't remove them though, just reset to default position, so then they can get selected again (and then deleted)

Yes, of course, but I'm not sure that the intention of the user was really to remove this crescendo, but rather to be able to select it. He will soon say so.

How and what do I reset to default position and yes! I need to remove it from score please

with the method cadiz1 described you reset the positions of hairpins to their default. Once that is done you can select them individually and delete them as needed.
Instead of the Ctrl+R, to reset positions, you can also press Del to remove them all
