musical question on measure numbering.

I have a question for people with a greater musical knowledge that I, on why this measure numbering should occur.
In the score for the song I am learning with my son, there is an indicated measure jump (?) with the staff text To 125 in this case, jumping over measures 122 and 123, which do not appear on the score.
I have found other instances of this in the sheet music, where it jumps measure with do not appear.
Following the lyrics, they continue with no break in tempo or song, (even on the CD soundtrack).
There is no indication of repeats.
This is just a question of curiosity on my part.
The music is a piano - conductor score.

Hard to say from just the posted excerpt, but it does seem strange. I can only assume that the missing measures appear in the full score or in other parts.

I thought so too, but going by the vocal lyrics, a 2 bar rest would have been out of place, and would have interfered with the flow of the lyrics.
I have found other instances in the score where this appears, where there are instruction to (go) to a bar number, which is in fact the next measure, but with a 1 or 2 jump in the numbering.
Again, following the lyrics, empty bars in this place would interfere with the lyrical flow.
As mentioned in another reply, the To bar number may have been put in to correct a setting error, but if that was the case, why not simply correct the measure numbering sequence.
It may well be just one of these events that will never be seen again.
I have quite a bit of experience, and what you have posted makes no sense to me. Just a guess, but when this was typeset, it may be that there was an error in the typesetting that was difficult to overcome, and those measures were missing, and the easiest way was just to put in an instruction so people wouldn't look for the missing bars.
It is as some have suggested, the missing measures appear on the full orchestration score and in the libretto.
These missing measure incorporate dialogue not needed for the song, and are skipped over in some copies of the score.
As a member of a community theatre group, I have many musical scores, and this is the first time I have seen a score with these instructions, and was just curious.
